Last February, The Columbus Senior Musicians Hall of Fame, Inc.
held its first fund-raiser.
Building upon what we learned from that event, we held a second dance at Valley Dale in October. If anything, it was even more of a success from the standpoint of the attendees who danced to the music of two outstanding bands. Some even joined in a "dance contest" judged by Jimmy Rawlins, Joe Holbrook, and Arnett Howard.
However, we did not recover our expenses. This does not mean we will not be holding dances in the future, but we do need to come up with a better marketing plan. Any suggestions would be welcome. here to add your text.
